Built in 1836, Handsome Brook Farm is just 4 miles from the picturesque village of Franklin. Located in beautiful Delaware County, New York we are close to the Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown Dreams Park, SUNY Delhi, SUNY Oneonta, and Hartwick College.

Your stay with us will be something special. Located in a quiet Catskill valley, the first thing you will notice is the beauty and peacefulness of your surroundings. Hear the peaceful waters of East Handsome Brook which flow directly behind our home. Each of our rooms has a view of the brook, and you will sleep more soundly than you have in years. There are large, comfy chairs by the fire. And our library, with thousands of books, is waiting for you to explore.

Handsome Brook Farm is a working berry farm

Handsome Brook Farm is a working berry farm, featuring strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. During the spring and summer months you can pick your own berries and help out in the orchards if you like. We have a team
of draft horses for hayrides, bareback riding and of course they just love to be petted. Our free range chickens provide our morning eggs. And our pigs and lambs are always happy to say hello! During the Fall, enjoy the changing color of the leaves and fall outdoor sporting activities. During the Winter, enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling on the miles of trails in the surrounding woods.
